Message from the Head
Dear Parents,
As the end of term approaches all of the Secondary students are completing their end of year exams and Primary students are starting to get excited about the end of term visits and trips they are able to go on. Exams and testing are a part of school life and it is delightful to see our students revising and trying hard on every assessment. The recent PTE and PTM results will be shared with our Primary parents today – they give you great insight into how your child(ren) are progressing in the core subjects. On Monday at the Annual General Meeting, I will be sharing more about the progress of students in the school at the end of Year 6 and Year 11.
At the AGM on Monday, we will also be sharing the results of the parent governor elections. If you haven’t done so already, please cast your vote based on the information that the candidates have supplied, by midnight on Sunday 6 June. Please contact Mr Le Roy if you have any further questions about this process.
Last night was Harry Potter night for Year 6, Mrs Wiesendanger did us proud with Quidditch lessons, potions and a quiz lead by Prof. Dumbledore himself. Thank you to the staff and students for making it such a wonderful event!
Just a couple of housekeeping notices, with summer finally here, please ensure that your daughter or son have sunscreen, a hat and lots of water to drink. If you haven’t completed the permission slip for Primary activities week, please could you do so and, if you are a Year 6 or Year 11 parent, please RSVP to the invitations for the end-of-year events which were sent out earlier this week.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Don’t forget your house PE shirts, water bottles and sun hats as we have ordered the sunshine on the following dates:
- Monday 7 June – Year 1 and Year 5
- Tuesday 8 June – Year 6
- Thursday 10 June – Year 3
- Friday 11 June – Year 2 and Year 4

Library books
Please could all pupils return all their Library books next week as of Monday 7 June. They do not have to wait for their library session.
I very much appreciate your help with this as it will enable me to do an inventory of the books before the summer holidays.
