Following on from Earth Day activities, Year 2 will be joining a Zoom presentation on Wednesday, 28 April with eco journalist, naturalist and author, Sarah Roberts.

In Library, we have read and discussed her book ’Somebody Swallowed Stanley’ which addresses the problem of plastic pollution in the oceans. Sarah will run a mini workshop on animal adaptations and plastic in the ecosystem, as well as talking about how sharks and turtles, in particular, are affected by plastic pollution. Pupils will have a chance to ask questions at the end.
