Key Stage 3 (age 11-14)
At Key Stage 3, our students learn content and skills in line with the English National Curriculum, as part of their initial preparation for GCSEs/IGCSEs at Key Stage 4.
Subjects are taught with a whole-school thread that ensures our pupils have the key life skills that they need for their future. These skills include problem solving and reasoning, interpersonal skills and communication, real world understanding and application of learned content, critical thinking and analysis, and how to work independently and as a part of a team. Structure of a school day
Students have six 55-minutes lessons each day. They also have a morning break from 10:35 – 10:55 and lunch break from 12:45 – 13:40, divided between lunch and lunchtime clubs or independent library and study time. The school day ends at 15:30, with after school activities until 16:30 to 17:30, depending on the activity.
